We’re a new 501(c)3 non-profit formed to support the queer, trans, and gender-diverse community in Portland, Oregon and beyond. Our vision is to provide a counseling clinic, community-building programs, and professional training opportunities.
Portland is a hub for trans and queer people, but we lack the capacity to meet the mental health and social needs of our community. As people move here from other states to seek refuge from discriminatory legislation, we face a pressing need to create more infrastructure. At Confluence, we hope to create contexts for community growth and resilience.
Right now, we’re seeking donations to fund our initial start-up costs. Please join us in building this resource for our community!

Startup Funding
We’re seeking $25,000 to get started with our operations. This will help pay for necessary things like:
- insurance
- accounting and bookkeeping
- legal fees
- rent
- salaries and wages
- marketing
